A very rare whisky that is sure to delight whisky collectors; it sold out in just a few minutes in Japan! This whisky was aged for 18 months in Sakura (cherry blossom) and American oak barrels.
A first-of-its-kind that is defying all laws of whisky making. Osuzuyama uses the hand box-malting method and distills the whisky using stainless steel Shochu stills. Not only that, but it is aged in American Oak and Sakura (cherry blossom) casks, something that is not allowed under the Scottish Whisky law! The result is a gorgeously smooth, silky, malty whisky with layers of spices and sweetness; a very unique Japanese interpretation of a classic spirit.
