Kokuryu was founded in 1804 in the land of the nine-headed dragon. Fukui is abundant with pure water that flows from the snowmelt of the Hakusan mountains through the rocky layers of the Kuzuryu river contributing to the high quality ginjo production and texture of their products. In addition to using only the highest quality rice, the brewery continues to innovate through research and state-of-the-art facilities to produce one of the best cult sake products in Japan.
