A joyful Kimoto sake that delivers luck to everyone. Slightly fizzy, soft, complex and dry.
Tastes like: Delicate and complex, slightly fizzy, steamed rice, light melon aromas
Look at the cute sea turtle drawn on the label! It is a charming gesture of this newly established brewery to wish everyone to encounter something happy. Kamenoo, the rice used to brew this sake, literally means "a tale of a turtle". And the sea turtle is a lucky symbol.

When you pull the lid, it makes a lively popping sound. It contains light and fine bubbles that softly runs down on your palate. Beautiful sweetness, umami and complexity gradually peeks in and start to spread on your mouth. The flavors comes in waves.

Kamenoo was made accessible to Nichi Nichi by another outstanding brewery, Senkin.
This raice strain is said to grow especially well in a natural enviroment where there is little or no usage of fertilizers and pesticides. Despite the fact that Kamenoo is not a designated sake brewing rice but rather a table rice, it is nowadays receiving more attention for brewing sake because of its distintive character.

About the Brewery: Nichi Nichi Shuzo

A new brewery founded by the famous master brewer Hidehiko Matsumoto, originally hailing from Sawaya Matsumoto. Nichi Nichi Jozo's products express the locality of Kyoto with its soft round texture and somehow calm, relaxed feeling. Fushimi District, where the brewery is located is famous for its excellent soft water source. The water quality influences the texture of sake brewed in the area. Fushimi sake is often called as "onnazake", meaning "female sake", discribing the round smooth texture the local sake tend to have, opposing to "otokozake", translated into "male sake", from Nada district of Hyogo.
