About the Distillery: Issho / Komaki Jozo
Set in a very picturesque setting, the distillery sits by Mount Shiba which provides the natural water to the distillery. A river runs by and the distillery is surrounded by beautiful nature. However, the area has many challenges and natural disasters; the distillery has suffered major flood damage a number of times and thankfully with the help of the local community was restored time and time again.
