Spicy and savory sake brewed from Basmati rice! Sponteneously fermented natural sake that nicely stimulates your appetite.

Brewed from a high-end aromatic rice named Princess sally, this long-grain rice was harvested from an organically cultivated rice field. Princess Sally is a kind of Basmati rice that was made by cross-breeding a round-grain rice that is normally used for sake brewing, with a long-grain basmati rice.

When Hoshino san, the brew master of Tsuchida brewery, tasted this rice he was impressed by the delicious aroma and couldn't help but dream of brewing sake with it. The outcome is this delicious sake with a spicy flavour that is full of umami, but interestingly light.

It is brewed in the same way as the brewery's signature sake Shin Tsuchida.
We can definitely recommend you to try both "Shin Tsuchida" and "Shin Tsuchida Princess Sally" next to each other, and you will taste the interesting difference.

It can also be an excellent sake for further aging.

How to store this sake
Store in a dark place at room temperature. Store in the refrigerator after opening. *Due to the character of the applied brewing style there may be sediments in the bottle or the liquied may be colored. This does not mean the product is faulty. You can lightly shake the bottle before serving.

About the Brewery: Tsuchida Shuzo

They are a small team of young brewers who make terrific natural style sake by Mt. Hotaka, where there is clear air and the mountain water is refined.

Once you step in to the brewery, you immediately notice they're different to other breweries. There's such a nice vibe that you can feel right away: loud music blasts in the brewing room, hanging portraits of each brewer sharing their personal stories of their relationship to sake. You see energetic young spirits talking to the rice and microorganisms, their eyes shining with excitement. Then you notice... they are having fun!
