As the name suggest, this sake demonstrates the beauty of Karakuchi. Karakuchi means that you can expect a very dry finish, something that requires a lot of technical skill to achieve! The sake is classic and traditional, but not at all uptight. It is a dry style with mild umami and acidity that pairs effortlessly with lightly seasoned dishes.

About the Brewery: Mimurosugi / Iminashi Shuzo

Founded in 1660 in the ancient land of Nara prefecture, this temple brewery embraces the history and tradition of 360 years. The water they use to brew their sake is from the mountain water of Miwayama, where the God of Sake is believed to reside. The brewery hand craft their sake with the legacy of Japanese mythology and local rice and water blessed by the god of sake.
